About Us

Jan Scott is the owner and publisher of the Women’s Yellow Pages and St. Louis Women On The Move, a 4 color glossy magazine.

She began her career as a member of the St. Louis Symphony at the age of 21, followed by a career in academia on the music faculty of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Upon taking an early retirement option from SIUE, Jan was driven by the need to develop a voice for St. Louis women.

First came the Women’s Yellow Pages of Greater St. Louis, a directory of women owned businesses. Next came the Women’s Yellow Pages Catalyst, a newsletter, recently replaced by St. Louis Women on the Move, a magazine by, for and about St. Louis women.

The two publications combine to give voice to the new role women have in our community.
